Welcome to Facecrime. Lifter's space on the web.

Hey all. Thanks to all who have downloaded music, bought T-shirts and added Lifter on Myspace. It's really appreciated.
As far as the T-shirts go, we'll be getting them out as soon as we can. They're at the screeners and it takes some time to get them done. But we'll get them out to you as soon as we can.
We've uploaded a couple of songs for you to check out. These are two songs which were demos for our second record. The first one is actually a single we did for a split with The Campfire Girls. They may or may not be on the new record when we make it. At the moment we're trying to figure out how we even want to do it. We did "Swing" with some friends with full drum programming and what not. It was actually really cool to be able to sort of compose in the studio as we went along rather than rehearsing live for months and just tracking. I don't know that I'd want to do a whole record like that but some songs lend themselves pretty well to that. Anyway, here are the songs to check out:

It's been a long time coming but we've finally finished this thing (to an extent) and are ready to roll.
It's really nice to finally start getting some feedback about our music courtesy of all of the fine folks at Myspace. That whole deal was nowhere near available to us back in the day. Our record, Melinda, came out in 1996 and after a year and a half of touring our label Interscope basically forgot who we were. But now we're on the road back.
As most of you know by now, Jeff, our bassist has been a contestant and finalist on Bravo's Project Runway. Amazing. It was this that brought us back together. A phonecall out of the blue asking for help with his music and we've started everything up again. You'll hear our effort, "Swing" on the final show. And, you can get it in both it's versions in our store, along with some T-Shirts and more music.
So, we hope to grow this thing as we go along. We've almost no pics so if you have anything at all Lifter related we'd love to see it and throw it up here. Stay in touch and let us know who you are in our forum.
So long. Don't get lost or killed.

Mike
